Since Thailand became a textile hub in Southeast Asia, the
demand for chemical products used
in the textile
industry has increased enormously. As a result,
Phenol Co., Ltd. made its debut in 1983.
The
Company was established to manufacture and distribute
chemical products for local fabric manufacturers.
Later, in 1988, the company established an affiliate,
Vicker Dye Ltd. Part., to supply various pigment
powders to local plastic manufacturers. Subsequently,
Vicker Pigment Co., Ltd.
was founded in 1992 to
serve the demand for other types of pigments,
including pre-coloured compound
and masterbatch. These kinds of pigment are used to
produce various plastics, such as those used
for electrical appliances, household utensils,
kitchenware, toys and shopping bags.
